Reading Rockets
Reading Rockets is a national multimedia project that offers a wealth of book lists, research-based reading strategies, lessons and activities designed to help children learn how to read and read better.

Start With a Book is a division of Reading Rockets and allows caregivers to choose a topic that interests the child and then link to reading lists and suggested activities.

Bookworm for Kids Bookworm for Kids features highly recommended books for children and young adults, organized by topic, genre and age level.  This site also offers a monthly newsletter with newly reviewed books.

Mother Goose Online:  In addition to an alphabetical master list of rhymes users will find rhymes grouped by themes.
