 NYPL Kids New York Public Library's website for kids, includes easy to use book lists arranged by topic, genre, age and reading levels.

 A Mighty Girl  A website dedicated to reviewing great books, movies, music, toys and activities that encourage building strong character.

GuysRead A website started by popular author Jon Scieszka dedicated to promoting life-long learning and love of reading.  Great book lists, articles, activities and links.

BookHive  Book reviews and recommended lists, author interviews, writing activities and recorded stories to listen to for free.  Resources for parents and children ages birth through twelve.

Reading Rockets
Reading Rockets is a national multimedia project that offers a wealth of book lists, research-based reading strategies, lessons and activities designed to help children learn how to read and read better.

Start With a Book is a division of Reading Rockets and allows caregivers to choose a topic that interests the child and then link to reading lists and suggested activities.

Bookworm for Kids Bookworm for Kids features highly recommended books for children and young adults, organized by topic, genre and age level.  This site also offers a monthly newsletter with newly reviewed books.
